About
Hello! My name is Alina Plascencia, and I am a Mexican-American born in the US but raised in both the state of Guanajuato, Mexico and here in Indiana! La Sociedad Latina inspires me to connect with my culture, uplift our community, and build lasting relationships. I love being involved in small-scale community work to uplift my area in NWI ('da region'), working to improve the quality of life for everyday Latinos and bringing that dedication to IU. I’m so excited to collaborate with new people and make an impact!
